"Empty Hills 2005." Day One, with Umkoy and "Kimbatoy"

Ended with a unique open-air folk-rock festival "Empty Hills 2005." In picturesque surroundings Tarusa (120 km from Moscow) presented Glad Umka, "Va-Ta-Ga", "Pakava It," "Troitsa", "nagual" etc. Two scenes, powerful sound, high-quality light and fresh air. Today we tell about the events of the first day of the festival. The festival is for "people with backpacks." The above artists would have done credit to a festival in the city of Moscow, but the show at the bend of the river Tarusa the picturesque glades is not comparable to anything else. First, of course, for the audience. You can hear the famous musician, and you can walk through the forest, swim in the shallow stream, or burn a fire in his tent. It is impossible to tell about all the bands at the festival, because the concerts were simultaneously on two stages, is not very close. Give us the best of what they saw and heard. Note the most exciting young team that has a chance to play, too friendly to a large audience. "Full Cup" - Rostov band plays romantic art-rock with a slight blend of jazz and funk. Struck produce primarily the ability to high-quality sound. Songs about grief and freedom sound completely different genres, and at first it seems to be a disadvantage. But then everything falls into place. Nice quality rock. "Nagual" more than in narrow circles of fans of psychedelic folk music known. On "Empty Hills" traded collecting membership from different groups, led by Leonid Pavlenko.
