The team was founded in 1996. Artistic director Oleg Shchukin. The ensemble maintains and develops the traditions of folk music. The repertoire of the Quarter - concert performances of the material of our folklore expeditions and other sources. The basis of our quaint rooms - best of the Cossack, Ukrainian, from the West, Belarusian folklore, songs and instrumental pieces melodies, stories, skomoroshin Russian North and Siberia. Sloboda artists through a great deal of singing and a good knowledge of the traditions of folk songs. Main instruments: balalaika, harp, accordion, flute, folk fiddle, Kobza, tambourine, drum.
